---"UNWRITTEN" DISCLOSURES---

  • Brian Sather is the mastermind and basically the only rider on the team currently. You would be racing with him (albeit probably not in support of him) and reaping his benefits. He (i.e. the one writing this) is currently in Australia but will be returning in a few months.
  • The team will grow only as a reaction to interest and participation, potentially with a growing number of benefits including, but not limited to, free bikes for top riders.
  • There are intentions to make Pro1-2 racing more interesting for the Boise race scene.
  • More teams are needed in Oregon (and the Northwest in general) to provide another foil in races and to have a color other than red on Oregon-based teams.
  • Oregon Trail Racing had a good roster and performance results in 2008 but fizzled in participation for 2009. The current intention is to rejuvenate the team using a different approach--that is, being more selective and less inclusive. The history of the club will soon be featured on this site.
  • The team kit is getting wilder, inspired partially by a throwback to Cipollini's tiger-striped kits.
  • The team may fail to develop, with Oregon Trail Racing consisting of only Brian Sather, who will continue to ensure the longevity of the "team" on a solo basis.
  • Most of the above is BS (i.e. Brian Sather) and may be amusing because it is outlandish but probably true.
